Policy for Social Responsibility -For more than a century De Cecco has been very careful selecting raw materials, producing a high-quality product, emphasizing De Cecco human resources and looking at the Client as the main counterpart. Our competitive strength is based on these pillars and with these policies we have become, and we intend to remain leading player on the market and a driving force in society. For this reason we have decided to strengthen and spread the vision coming from our philosophy: a value system based on the search for balance between profitability and social responsibility. This comes from the combination of Company results with social responsibility, through the adoption of the SA8000 standard. The Standard generates a motivation to improve within the organization and outside it in the process of selection and evaluation of suppliers. The choice to commit to the standard for Social Responsibility SA8000 is the confirmation of our industrial and financial strategies and of our operational conduct, always aimed at the benefit of all those who, with their efforts ,contribute to the realization of our plans and to the creation of value. For this reason, as an integration to our Quality Policy , we have formalized in a document our Policy for Social Responsibility.
